Mr. Riazzi is a graduate of Davidson College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and was also a Captain on the basketball team. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly Wachovia Securities) as a Financial Advisor in 1986. Mr. Riazzi also taught investment planning courses at Salem College for many years.

In 2022, Mr. Riazzi and his team started their own independent investment company, Riazzi Rhyne and Swaim Investment Group.  Pat enjoys most all sports, especially biking, running and playing tennis. He and his wife, Lori, have four children.

Before moving his financial practice to Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group, Mr. Rhyne worked for Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly Wachovia Securities), and prior to Wells Fargo Advisors, he was an Inventory Planner with L'eggs Products for two years. Mr. Rhyne earned his bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from North Carolina State University. A former collegiate swimmer and YMCA swimming coach, he held three world records for his 40-44 age group in the 200-, 400-, and 800-meter freestyle and won the 200-meter butterfly and 1,500-meter freestyle events at the U.S. Masters Swimming long-course championship. He remains involved with the local YMCA.

Joe and his wife, Laurie, have been married for 37 years and enjoy spending time on Kiawah Island with their three adult children and two granddaughters.

Danny Riazzi has been a member of the Riazzi Rhyne and Swaim Investment Group since 2001. Mr. Riazzi specializes in serving the needs of high-net-worth clients and telecommunications companies. He offers a disciplined approach to investing – first developing a clear understanding of your investment objectives and risk tolerance, then developing a plan that is tailored to your individual needs.

An Investment Advisory Representative, Mr. Riazzi holds his general securities and managed futures registration, as well as his life, health, and long-term care insurance licenses.  He has been recognized as one of Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors* from 2018-2023. Danny graduated from the University of Dayton where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has attended seminars on retirement and education planning. He utilizes Envision® to help clients meet their goals. 

Mr. Riazzi is active in the telephone industry where he does volunteer work for many statewide associations, FRS and NTCA.  He has served on various boards throughout the years for NTCA. Active in his community, Mr. Riazzi serves as a volunteer for Saint Leo’s School and Samaritan Ministries.  He has also coached various sports at the local YMCA and at Saint Leo’s. Danny enjoys running and playing various racket sports in his spare time. He and his wife, Erin, have four sons.

He will take the time to understand each client's unique investment opportunities before developing a plan that is designed to satisfy their unique financial needs. And, through clear communication, he strives to keep his clients' portfolios on track toward their investment objectives.

Prior to Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group, Mr. Swaim was the owner of an automotive business in Winston-Salem--a career that allowed him to pay his own way through the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. In addition to holding his general securities registration and insurance licenses, Mr. Swaim is also licensed as an Investment Advisory Representative and he is entrusted to manage client portfolios as a PIM Portfolio Manager. An avid cyclist, Mr. Swaim has competed as a top-level amateur (on the road) --competing in Europe and winning a State Championship. He serves on the Board of Vic Chisholm Racing, Inc., which helps amateurs and junior cyclists achieve their goals in cycling. Mr. Swaim is also chairman of The National Cycling Center, and co-founded The Winston-Salem Cycling Classic & Gears and Guitars Festival held annually in downtown Winston-Salem. Sterling and his wife, Laura, have two daughters, Vivian and Eleanor.

Patrick Rhyne has been providing clients with a comprehensive blend of personal service and professionalism since joining Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim in 2015.   He offers a disciplined approach to investing - first by developing a clear understanding of your investment objectives and risk level, then by creating an investment plan specific to those objectives.   

Before joining Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim, Mr. Rhyne was a Credit Analyst for Wells Fargo Bank in Concord, North Carolina for three years.  This career allowed him to assess companies and gain a broad understanding of the many industries throughout the nation – with a special focus in the telecommunications industry.  In addition to earning his general securities registration and insurance license, Mr. Rhyne is also registered as an Investment Advisory Representative. 

Mr. Rhyne graduated from Clemson University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management.   He enjoys most all sports, played club soccer while at Clemson and continues to stay active today by running and playing tennis.  Mr. Rhyne was a member of NTCA’s Advisory Council Board and remains heavily involved in the rural broadband industry.   Patrick and his wife, Amberly, are newly married.   

Brett LaBoube is the Managing Principal of Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group LLC.  Brett manages the risk/supervision, compliance, and operations for Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim.  He also leads the development and management of the investment strategy for the group, overseeing the creation of the asset allocation recommendations as well as assisting in the investment management decisions.

Prior to joining Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group, Brett led and managed the Ultra High Net Worth Investment Consulting Group at Wells Fargo Advisors.  His team’s primary responsibility was to provide support to the firm’s high-net worth private clients and the financial advisory teams that service them.  He was responsible for the articulation of the firm’s four-asset group investment strategy and the application of this strategy to the portfolio construction process.

Brett has consulted with hundreds of global high net worth clients (Fortune 500 executives, retired professional athletes, and small-mid sized business owners.)  His consulting engagements focused on the precepts of the investment management process, primarily, asset allocation decisions, risk management, tax-efficient investing, cost-effective investing, and alternative investments.

Brett graduated cum laude from the Robert W. Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Lindenwood University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is series 7, 66, & 24 registered.  Brett & his wife Melissa have two daughters, Layna & Everly, and a son, Camden.

Megan joined Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group in 2021 after working with Wells Fargo Bank for three years as a Premier Banker.  She is passionate about building trust and growing lasting relationships with our clients.  Megan works with the Managing Partners to enhance the customer experience by implementing a holistic approach to investing and offering personalized financial solutions to address clients’ specific needs. 

Megan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Design.  She began her career with Lincoln Financial Group in Life Customer Service where she obtained her securities registration and state life, health, and long-term care insurance license.  She has collaborated with financial advisors for annuities and mutual funds sales as an Internal Wholesaler both with Lincoln Financial Advisors and AIG SunAmerica.  She and her husband, Daniel, enjoy travelling and spending family time with their 2 young daughters.

Dakota Dzula joined Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group after working for Wells Fargo four and a half years. She supports the Managing Partners to further develop and enhance client relationships.  As a key point of contact for clients, Dakota’s engagements span the spectrum of investment consulting and financial planning topics that are specific to each individual, family, or company. 

Dakota will graduate from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 2024 with her bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in economics.  In her free time, Dakota runs a non-profit organization that her and her mother founded to provide grants to young adults wanting to start a career in the trades industry. Dakota enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and two dogs, Biscuit and Bella.

Dawn Boyer's attention to detail and commitment to assisting clients achieve their financial goals make her an indispensable member of the Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group.  In addition to processing new accounts and servicing existing relationships, her responsibilities also include managing account cash requirements, retirement-plan distributions, and compliance related requests. Mrs. Boyer has held her general securities registration since 1995. She spent 28 years with Wells Fargo Advisors and has been with Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group since its inception.

Mrs. Boyer attended St. Mary's College and graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree in English in 1990. Dawn is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and enjoys spending time with her family, reading and watching sports.  She and her husband, Dan, have three grown children.

Since 1987, Shannon Lewis has been supporting Financial Advisors with leading securities firms. Her primary responsibilities for the Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group include managing the documentation needed for client services including paperwork relating to retirement plans, insurance products, investment managers, and investment planning. In addition, she coordinates Internet communications and Internet account access for the team's clients.

Mrs. Lewis began her career at Legg Mason, where she worked for six years as a receptionist and wire operator. During her tenure she obtained her general securities registration and received a promotion to registered sales assistant. She also worked for more than six years at PaineWebber in a similar role, as well as the positions of branch office administrator and branch technology liaison. She joined the Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group in 2000. Shannon and her husband, Mark, have two grown children.

Jodie Daniel is dedicated to helping clients with their financial needs and providing exceptional customer service.  Along with establishing and processing all aspects of new accounts, she is also responsible for servicing existing relationships, which includes maintaining and updating various portfolios and providing timely communications.

Prior to joining Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group in 2014, Ms. Daniel worked as a registered client service associate at Ameriprise Financial for seven years, where she obtained both her general securities registration and life insurance license.  She attended Appalachian State University and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Business. She and her husband, Brian, live in Kernersville with their two sons.

Sara Sidden joined Riazzi Rhyne & Swaim Investment Group in January of 2023. In addition to being the welcoming face at our office, she provides support to our team and clients by proficiently handing incoming calls, correspondence, and the day-to-day office operations.  Her ability to multitask and willingness to learn has made her an integral part of the team. 

Sara continues to expand her knowledge of the financial services industry and is currently studying to become FINRA registered.  This is a step towards her long-term goal of becoming a Financial Planner.  Her accomplishments include becoming a Junior Leader within her Taekwondo practice and earning her black belt at the age of 13.  Sara graduated from West Forsyth High School in 2019 while taking courses at Forsyth Tech her senior year. She enjoys being active outdoors and often indulges in hiking and fishing.
